Army holds veterans outreach programme in Gujarat

With an objective to redress the ex-servicemen’s grievances including pension related, Indian Army has conducted an Veterans outreach programme at Bhavnagar in Gujarat. Over 350 ex-servicemen and veer naris attended the event. They were also informed about the schemes carried out by Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV) and Kendriye Sainik Board (KSB), an Indian Army official said. Jamnagar station commander Brigadier Nitish Bisht graced the occasion as the chief guested and felicitated five veer naris and four veterans. The Indian Army is conducting their veterans outreach programme across the country from time to time.
