New Delhi: In a move towards bolstering security and enhancing coordinated operational effectiveness in the region, the Indian Army, in collaboration with the Jammu & Kashmir Police, has initiated a joint training program at the White Knight Corps Battle School in Bhalra, Doda. The programme started on March 19, but was announced on Friday.

There has been a longstanding partnership between the Indian Army and the Jammu & Kashmir Police in combating terrorism for over three decades. Together, they have conducted numerous successful joint operations over the years, including the strategic containment in Sopore and the counterterrorism strikes in Pulwama.
