IAF pilot ejects safely in Jamnagar after Jaguar develops snag

An Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot was safely ejected on Friday after the fighter jet Jaguar developed technical snag during the landing phase in Jamnagar of Gujarat. The pilot was on a routine training mission from Jamnagar air base. “Today morning, around 0920h, pilot of a Jaguar aircraft on a routine training mission from Jamnagar, safely ejected when the aircraft developed a snag during the landing phase,” an IAF official said. A Court of Inquiry (CoI) has been ordered to investigate the cause of snag. On Tuesday, Air Commodore Sanjai Chauhan died after his aircraft Jaguar crashed in Kutch area. He was also on a routine training mission.
