Army Chief Gen Bipin Rawat on Tuesday commended the winners of a national-level writing competition on the theme of national security.
On the ocassion, the army chief said, "Initiatives like these will go a long way in fostering national security awareness amongst the citizens of the country in general, and the youth in particular."
The writing competition was organized with an aim to promote a strategic culture and interest in national security related issues amongst the youth.
The event was organized at the Centre for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS) in New Delhi.
