Amritsar: Alert troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Pakistani drone along the Indo-Pakistan Boundary in the area of BOP Rajatal of Sector Amritsar on Monday night.
The troops detected intrusion of a drone from Pakistani side at 8pm on Monday.
“The drone was fired upon and counter-drone measures taken,” the force said.
Subsequently, on Tuesday morning during search of area, BSF troops recovered 01 black coloured drone with a white coloured bag approx 700 mtrs from IB and 350 mtrs from BS Fence.
On opening of bag, 01 big packet wrapped with yellow coloured adhesive tape and 01 small torch were found.
