China seeks larger investment and tourism ties with India

Bishkek: China wants to forge closer development partnership with India, particularly in areas such as  investment, industries and tourism, and jointly promote regional inter-connectivity through construction of the Bangladesh-China-India-Myanmar Economic  Corridor  to make a bigger cake of  common interests. Chinese president Xi Jinping said the two nations need to constantly broaden  the channels for cooperation, as cooperation between the two countries can  not only boost their respective development, but also will contribute to  peace, stability and prosperity in Asia and the world.

IAF retrieves FDR and CVR of crashed AN-32 aircraft

New Delhi: A team of Indian Air Force, Indian Army and Arunachal Pradesh government mountaineers on Friday retrieved the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) and the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR)  of the AN-32 transport aircraft that crashed near Lipo in Arunachal Pradesh on June 3, killing 13 people onboard. “The Cockpit Voice Recorder ( CVR) and Flight Data Recorder ( FDR)  has been recovered by rescue team at crash site today,” Shillong-based defence PRO Ratnakar Singh said.
