Unmarried disabled sons eligible for ECHS facilities
In a major relief to members of the Ex-servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) whose children are suffering from life-threatening disabilities, the defence ministry on Wednesday decided to treat similarly as of CGHS that unmarried permanently disabled and financially dependent sons of ECHS beneficiaries who have become disabled after attaining the age of 25 years.
