IAF, Army, Navy carry out helocasting and combat underwater diving exercise at high-altitude areas in Sikkim

IAF, Indian Army conduct joint exercise in Sikkim 

New Delhi: The troops of Indian Air Force and Indian Army concluded their joint exercise that included helocasting training in remote high-altitude areas in Sikkim.

Along with them, the Indian Navy also participated in triservices combat underwater diving exercise in extreme weather conditions in the same region.

However, either of the forces did not reveal the date of exercise. This exercise was carried out to validate Validated synergy, jointness and integration in operation.

The Indian Air Force shared a video and images of the exercise on ‘X’ (earlier known as Twitter).

“#Jointness. Showcasing their unity in purpose, the #IAF and the Indian Army recently carried out helocasting training in remote high altitude areas. @adgpi,” the IAF wrote on ‘X’.

Helocasting is an airborne technique used by small unit, special operations forces to insert troops into a military area of operations.
