Country is moving from “I” to “We”: Maj Gen Sehgal

New Delhi: Acknowledging the change happening in the society, Defence Expert Maj Gen PK Sehgal (Retd) has said that the country is moving from “I” to “We” as youths are not just living for themselves only but for others too.

Maj Gen Sehgal was speaking at the fourth edition of “Navoudit 2019” at Maitreyi College of Delhi University.

Navoudit is an initiative by Youth For Seva and it focuses on providing a platform for kids from underprivileged backgrounds to exhibit their creativity and talent in various fields at its level best.

The event witnessed a huge participation from children and won the hearts of everyone present there with their fabulous performances of dance, drama, signing and a lot more, the organiser said.

He said, “This is the true picture of our Country, where one generation helps the other generation through the medium of creativity and teaches them to contribute to the changes that are happening in the country.”

Congratulating the 500 volunteers of Youth For Seva who have trained hundreds of kids in a month for the event, the former army officer said “ I can see Today’s youth are not just living for themselves but for others too. The Nation is moving from ‘I to WE’.”

Students from 45 different schools and organisations participated in 14 different events.
