Iran: Khamenei condemns violence against Muslims in India

Baghdad: Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei on Thursday condemned the violence against Muslims in India and said that hearts of Muslims all over the world are "grieving" over the recent communal violence in Delhi.

In a twitter post Ayatollah Khamenei said "The hearts of Muslims all over the world are grieving over the massacre of Muslims in India. The govt of India should confront extremist Hindus & their parties & stop the massacre of Muslims in order to prevent India’s isolation from the world of Islam."

The post ended with the hashtag “Indian Muslims ln Danger”.

More than than 40 people died in a violent clashes in northeast Delhi between anti-CAA  and pro Citizenship (Amendment) Act groups.
