Shillong: Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Eastern Air Command on Thursday celebrated the 88th Air Force Day at Headquarters Eastern Air Command (EAC) in Shillong.
EAC Air Oficer Commanding-in-Chief Air Marshal Amit Dev administered oath to all the personnel of the Command and awarded commendations to air warriors and civilians who have excelled in their profession.
The Air Marshal urged the personnel to enhance operational capability, conduct safe flying and strengthen security of bases, Shillong-based Defence PRO Wing Commander Ratnakar Singh said.
Stressing on the need for maintaining high operational preparedness, the Air Marshal urged everyone to stay committed to the service and continue working hard, to “Touch the Sky with Glory”.
