New Delhi: The tri-services all women mountaineering expedition to Mt. Manirang (21,625 ft), organised by the IAF, has today reached it's goal with four members of the team, Wg Cdr Bhavna, Wg Cdr Nirupama, Wg Cdr Lalita & Maj Saumya, successfully scaling the peak on India's Independence Day.
The expedition is part of the 'Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav' celebrations and consists of 15 mountaineers, led by Wg Cdr Bhavana Mehra.
It was flagged off from Air Force Station New Delhi on August 1, 2021.
