Sapta Shakti Army wives Welfare Association hosts Asmita, an inspirational stories by Army wives

Jaipur: Sapta Shakti Army wives Welfare Association (AWWA) has hosted the 'ASMITA’ - inspirational stories by Army Wives, a celebration of courage and resilience on August 23-24 at Sapta Shakti Auditorium in Rajasthan’s Jaipur.

ASMITA is a platform where brave Army Wives share their journeys of resilience and victory over hardships.

Whether confronting personal struggles or embracing the challenges of military life, these women shine as symbols of strength and courage. Their stories inspire countless others, encouraging them to rise above adversity with hope, determination and unwavering spirit.
The programme featured motivational ASMITA Talks,  an engaging cultural presentation by the children of Asha School and felicitation of achievers.

The event was attended by Diya Kumari, Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan as the Chief Guest, Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command, Barinder Jit Kaur, Regional President, Sapta Shakti AWWA, veterans with families, other esteemed guests and all ranks and families of Jaipur Military station.

In her address to the gathering, Deputy Chief Minister appreciated all speakers for their pliability & perseverance and lauded the noble initiatives of AWWA in empowering women, supporting Veer Naris and fostering inclusive growth.
She praised the spirit and strength of Armed Forces families, noting their invaluable role in nation-building.

Regional President, Sapta Shakti AWWA expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the exceptional women who shared their inspiring stories of triumph and resilience.

She emphasised that these narratives not only inspire but also reaffirm the immense power of human spirit in overcoming challenges and effecting positive change in the world.

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command presented Commendation Cards to the distinguished civ dignitaries of state administration who have contributed in Military-Civil collaborations and endeavours in multiple domains.

This edition of 'ASMITA- Inspirational Stories by Army Wives'- brought forth real life sagas of courage and determination and reflected on the challenges overcome by these champion women in different walks of life.

The event showcased the remarkable journeys of extraordinary women who have triumphed over adversity and made impactful contributions to their communities.

In a world, often focused on the accomplishments of individuals in uniform, ASMITA shines as a spotlight on a different kind of heroism - that of Army wives.

The beautiful cultural event presented by the students of Sapta Shakti ASHA School proved that talent knows no barriers.

Key highlight of the event was the felicitation of ASMITA speakers and Veer Naris acknowledging their courage and sacrifice.

ASMITA-25 reaffirmed its vision of empowerment, recognition and respect for women, veterans and their families -a true celebration of resilience and service.
