New Delhi: The 107 Regular Course of the Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Tuesday celebrated 25 years of commissioned service to the nation, marking a significant milestone in enduring bond and unwavering devotion to the nation.
The officers of the course gathered at the National War Memorial in Delhi to honour the legacy of service, camaraderie, and sacrifice that defines their journey.
Commenced with a wreath-laying ceremony at the National War Memorial in New Delhi, the officers paid heartfelt tribute to the 11 brave officers of the course who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.
“Their courage, dedication, and selflessness were remembered with reverence and pride by their coursemates and families,” an officer said.
Following the solemn tribute, a commemorative banquet was held, bringing together serving and retired officers of the 107 Regular Course.
The event served as a moment of reflection on their shared experiences in service of the motherland and a reaffirmation of their commitment to the values of duty, honour, and country.
The 107 Regular Course was commissioned on 24 June 2000 and has since contributed to the Indian Army’s operational and leadership fabric across various arms and services, with officers serving in critical appointments and challenging operational environments.
