Western Army Commander reviews operational readiness of Rising Star Corps

New Delhi: Indian Army’s Western Army Commander Lt Gen RP Singh on Tuesday visited Yol Cantt and Palampur military station to review the operational readiness and COVID-19 pandemic situation.

Rising Star Corps General-Officer-Commanding Lt Gen Upendra Dwivedi briefed him about the current situation, operational preparedness and efforts to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Commander also interacted with civil officials and felicitated Kangra Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Prajapati for commendable efforts in containing and instituting adequate measures to contain the spread of corona pandemic.

He also visited Palampur Military Station and interacted with the doctors and staff of the dedicated COVID hospital and COVID Care Center.

He lauded the Corona Warriors for their relentless efforts in preparedness to fight against the pandemic and rendering selfless service to the nation.
